2010-2012. I’d gotten through a few complete Alias models and was ready to do something real. Did a lot of research including visiting every wake boat dealer in Melbourne with my tape measure. Before I started on the 3D model I forced myself to draw a traditional lines plan and sketch some 2D concepts. These helped understand hull forms and the importance of sections. Designed for the Australian market and I never once thought about wake surfing. Some Nautique influences in the transom for sure and overall I don’t think it was too far off being buildable.
