2015-2016. Took the 53 and 46 concepts and spent a long time refining the sheer and deck height. Finally got power train CAD so I could place the drives and engines, did some mock-ups for the cockpit which defined the rest of the boat and quickly went to tooling models. Some of my finest surfacing went into this boat and I was meticulous both the hull and deck. Used the seats we developed for the 32 with a new larger cockpit design. The hatch was made up from 9 different molds to make the louvers work and I had to move to a solid modeler for the mechanism. Enter Fusion 360, which was junk at first but allowed me to engineer a completely concealed hydraulic four bar assembly to actuate the engine compartment hatch. All of the molds were built for this boat so I iām hoping to see hit the water someday.
